Job Description
Requirements:- We’re looking for someone with a blend of strong management consulting and emerging markets experience who is eager to roll up their sleeves and build this new unit within Living Goods. We’re a small organization striving for big impact, so we expect you to be proactive and energetic, with a ‘start-up’ attitude.
- From day one, you’ll demonstrate problem-solving prowess, and commitment to achieving huge impact for Living Goods and our partners.
- Preference for this position to based out of our regional offices in Kampala, Uganda, or Nairobi, Kenya. 30-50% regional travel is expected.
Job Requirements
Qualifications- 2 + years of management consulting experience with top firm with proven track record of exceeding expectations, or equivalent experience in a fast-paced intense-learning environment;
- Top-notch quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and proven success proposing useful solutions for internal or external clients
- Proven ability to present information in an insightful and structured manner, and inspire confidence in a wide variety of audiences
- Entrepreneurial spirit and professional maturity; ability to work independently, think creatively, learn quickly and know when to seek support;
- Experience working with culturally diverse teams in developing countries, and preferably in Sub Saharan Africa;
- BA required
- Experience in direct selling, franchising, or BoP distribution is a plus
