Business Development Manager - Grand Petroleum & Chemical Limited


Position/Job Title: Business Development Manager.
Permanent or Contract: Permanent.
Educational & Professional Qualification: Individual should possess a minimum qualification of B.Sc in Chemistry, Chemical & Mechanical Engineering.
Years of Experience: He/She must have minimum of 7 years experience in the sales of Lubricants & Petrochemicals.  He/She must also have a minimum of 3-4 years in similar capacity as Business development manager or Senior sale executive.
Skills: Candidates must have good communication and presentation skills and be result oriented.
Personality: Team player, creative, positive, ambitious.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Negotiate and close business deals and drive the sales team to achieve sales target.
  • Create a level of excitement around the Lubricant & Petrochemical business.
  • Take ownership of the business to help win and drive top and bottom line performance with the sales team.
  • Engage with stakeholders or end-user consumer and executives to develop and sustain business relationships.
  • Qualify leads and drive conversion to orders with the Sales team.
  • Work with the sales team to develop and execute the sales strategy for business.
  • Study and stay up to date with regional market dynamics, analysis to support adjustments to strategies.  Brief management up to date with periodic sales report and recommendation.
  • Develop a program or strategy to increase market share for B2B, C2C and approved distribution vendors.
  • Serve as a beacon to the Sales and pursuit teams to emphasize the importance of creating client value in our offerings.
  • Personally engage on key sales pursuits to support the team.
  • Present or drive others to present at marketing events to increase awareness of business.
  • Provide quarterly management updates on the sales strategy and business.
  • Identify reusable Petrochemical applications to package and offer which provide high value or lower cost.
  • Engage Customers in regular feedback as to sales & after sales delivery.
  • Travel regionally as necessary to support business as on a needed basis.
