Name of Subsidiary/Division: Finance Department.

Position/Job Title: Finance Manager.

Permanent or Contract: Permanent.

Educational & Professional Qualification: B.Sc Accounting. The candidate must be a chartered accountant or a member of other accounting professional body

Years of Experience: Individual must have a minimum of 5-7 year(s) work experience in similar capacity in either a multinational, indigenous conglomerate or financial institution. He/She should have a good knowledge of management accounts and other financial reporting functions/statements based on (IFRS standards) and proficient use of accounting packages/software.

Skills: Candidates must have good communication and presentation skills and be result oriented.

Personality: Team player, creative, positive, ambitious.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Have good knowledge of management accounts and other financial reporting functions / statements based on( IFRS standards).
• Proficient use of accounting packages/ software.( Peach tree, Sage pastel, Microsoft office suite / dynamics etc.)
• Collate, prepare and interpret financial reports and managing of budgets and  accounts
• Developing and managing financial systems/models
• Supervise accounts department to ensure both individual and departmental KPI are achieved.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure its regular compliance to its statutorily obligations
• Prepare financial statement report and advise management on its cash flow, revenue /profitability, expenditure etc.
• Prepare management report for management decision.
• Maintain regular financial analysis and forecast for the business
• Also advise the management on how best to  help minimize financial risk, reduce cost and generate  stable cash flow or profitability  for the business
