Business Development Manager - Nosak Distilleries Limited

Position/Job Title: Business Development Manager.
Permanent or Contract: Permanent.
Educational & Professional Qualification: Individual should possess a minimum qualification of B.Sc in Chemistry, Chemical & Mechanical Engineering.
Years of Experience: He/She must have minimum of 5-7 years experience in the sales of Ethanol & other petrochemicals products. He/She must also have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a managerial role or Business development capacity  in the Ethanol industry.
Skills: Candidates must have good communication and presentation skills and be result oriented.
Personality: Team player, creative, positive, ambitious.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Continue to build relationships with future clients as well as enhance existing client relationships
  • Cooperate with other members of the Sales to ensure that the clients continuous patronage and also engage for referrals for potential clients.
  • Drive accounts to achieve sale target and profitability.
  • Engage in market analysis on prices, competitors and adopt strategies that can win more clientele base.
  • Develop and implement a wide range of business strategies to a set of customers & distributors and other stakeholders in support the business i.e customer interactive sessions/ sales fair
  • Win new business with customers by determining winning value propositions (customer needs i.e price to win), create proposals / offers in alignment with Business Development / marketing price scale and  handle negotiations (including customer- sale specific requirements if need be)
  • Be the focal point for any issues clients may have
  • Be responsible for key client presentations, campaigns and meetings.
  • Regular travel across to support business needs.
  • Look for white gaps in accounts to achieve continued growth.
  • Ensure regular feedbacks from customers.
  • Drive and motivate sale team to meet sale target.
