ICT Manager - Nosak Group


Name of Subsidiary/Division: ICT Department.
Position/Job Title: ICT Manager.
Permanent or Contract: Permanent.
Educational & Professional Qualification: Individual should possess a minimum qualification of B.Sc. in Computer science, information technology. Other IT professional qualification(s) would be of added advantage (Cisco certified, Linux, Oracle, Network administrator etc).
Years of Experience: He/She must have a minimum of 5- 7 years’ work experience in similar capacity and be able to manage a team.
Skills: Candidates must have good communication and presentation skills and be result oriented.
Personality: Team player, creative, positive, ambitious.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems
  • Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organization
  • Designing training programs and workshops for team members.
  • Conducting regular system audits
  • Running and sharing regular operation system reports with team members
  • Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages
  • Managing and reporting on allocation of IT budget
  • Providing direction and set KPI for IT team members to achieve departmental objectives, target.
  • Identifying opportunities for team training and skills
  • Performing user management support for user accounts
  • Undertaking  routine  maintenance  and  checking  of  networked  workstations  and  other  peripherals
  • Preserve assets, information security and control structures
