Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Check received items for quality and quantity before items are accepted on shelf.
Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves and Stockyard areas neat.
Maintain quality service by following Warehouse rules and procedures.
Protect and preserve items in the warehouse against deterioration and damage.
Maintain correct bin locations for items in the Warehouse and log onto computer system.
Pick correct items and quantities against approved pick slips and capture data on computer.
Carry out regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies to establish root cause.
Regularly review outstanding pick slips in the system and cancel where necessary.
Assist end-users with right information pertaining to their needs and resolve arising queries.
Other duties as directed by the Supervisor

Job Requirements

Certificate in CIPS or Equivalent
